Peer Review Process

Only manuscripts which have not been previously published and not being submitted in another journal will be considered for publication in IJRM.

At first, the submitted manuscripts will be assessed from editorial points of view. Then the manuscript with basic editorial requirements will enter the peer-review process. The manuscript will be sent at least to one in-office and two out of office peer reviewer anonymously. Selection of the referees is at the sole discretion of the IJRM editorial board. The editors and reviewers do not disclose any information about the manuscript or its review. This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. The corresponding author will then be informed to the referee’s remark to accept, reject, or require modification. If revision required, authors are asked to return the revised manuscript within 10 days. Of course, additional time will be given to the author if needed. The review process will take at least 30-40 days.

Revision: Papers may be returned to authors for modification of the scientific content and/or for language corrections. Revised paper and a letter listing point-for-point response to the reviewers must be submitted to the Editor. Suggestion by the Editor about resubmission does not imply that a revised version will necessary be accepted. If a paper that is returned to the authors for modification is not resubmitted within two months it will be regarded as having been withdrawn and any revised version received subsequently will be treated as a new paper and the date of receipt will be altered accordingly. Authors who resubmit a paper that has previously been rejected must provide the original manuscript and a letter explaining in detail how the paper has been modified. Accepted manuscripts become the property of IJRM.

After acceptance: The accepted manuscript will be reviewed by journal English and Scientific editors and final corrections should be done. Revised papers must indicate corrections with underlying text. Corrected manuscript must be returned to office within 3 days.

Proofs: One set of page proof (as PDF) will be sent to the corresponding author to be checked for only typographical errors and other essential small changes before publication in order to avoid any mistakes. Major alternations to the text will only be considered with the permission from the editor at this stage. Proofs must be returned to the Editor within 3 days of receipt. Instruction on how to use PDF files will enclose the mail. If you do not wish to use the PDF annotations function, you may list the corrections (including replies to the query form) and return them IJRM in the e-mail. Please list your corrections quoting line number. If this is not possible for any reason, mark the corrections and comments on a printout form, scan the pages and return via e-mail. In the final step, the final confirmation form will be sent to the corresponding author. This form and a publishing agreement must be signed by all authors and returned to journal again.
